M.C.Plumbing were formed in 1978 as a family run plumbing business and have now grown to M C P Property Services Ltd which now encompasses all aspects of both plumbing, heating and property maintenance and refurbishment services. The business has been built on solid foundations that can react efficiently and effectively to any situation including domestic installation or maintenance both reactive and planned.
In the late 1980's the business started to grow as the family business gained more and more customers but it was very slow and hard work. But it became apparent that there was a huge demand for Heating and Electrical work so the business took on new staff to cater for demand.
In the early 1990's the business took on a new emphasis becasue of it's new service offerings and needed to also provide minor refurbishment work which included more and more kitchens and bathrooms which meant providing both building, plastering, tiling and carpentry skills in addition to and ever increasing demand in the heating and plumbing services too
In 2001, due to the growing and larger customer base and diversity of client contract demands at the time the business recognized the need for a 24:7 emergency call out service. This was a major turning point in the businesses future as they were now able to offer all of the core professional skills and services of both a carpenter, lock smith, heating engineer, electrician, plumber and glazer which basically covered nearly all eventualities quickly and efficiently, but moreover this then opened up many more business opportunities
Early in 2006 the senior Managment Team recognised that the Company name M.C.Plumbing didn't now really reflect or portray the capabilities and services of the business anymore and therefore took the difficult decision to take the difficult step of changing their name to M C P Property Services Ltd.
Moving forward M C P now have an extensive and enviable Client and Customer Portfolio, which includes many Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Letting Agents, Social Landlords, Building and Construction businesses, Trusts, Charities, Nursing & Care Homes, Small and Medium Sized Businesses and thousands of private customers.
