MCP Property services started life in 1978 as a family-run plumbing business. The range of services has since grown to cover all the core professional skills and services of:

Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, lock smiths, heating engineers and glaziers.

Over 45 staff are now employed, offering a responsive, friendly and effective
24-hour, 7 days a week service to our clients throughout Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk.

We employ our own staff to carry out all work and invest in training and development, having as many as seven apprentices and improvers in place at any time - helping to control quality as well as controlling costs for our customers. We have all the relevant accreditations required.  

We stand by our motto "Once a customer, a customer for life", and treat the performance criteria of our customers as a bare minimum expectation; always aiming for excellence in customer service and safety management.

M C P now have an extensive and enviable client and customer portfolio, which includes many local authorities, housing associations, letting agents, social landlords, building and construction businesses, trusts, charities, nursing & care homes, small and medium sized businesses and thousands of private customers.

As well as reactive call-outs, we carry out planned maintenance work. We cover:

A Home Improvement Business Partner

We aim to establish, wherever possible, partnering arrangements with clients with the objective of delivering greater improvements to properties that achieve "Decent Home" standards, as well as happy householders or stakeholders. We often manage the housing portfolio directly, as an extension to the client's own team. We are very experienced in the partnered methods of procurement in relation to housing improvement and work collaboratively with residents and in-house staff. The total value of all the work over the last five year period is estimated to be in the region of £27m.
